Un mensaje en una botella. Creemos que cayó del cielo, como un meteorito del futuro, en forma de una película. Unos reels de celuloide que quedaron al fondo del mar. Encontramos esta película fuera de la costa de Euskal Herria, el País Vasco, en el Atlántico. Con un equipo de estudiantes de cine de EQZE, restauramos el celuloide en el laboratorio de su escuela para llevarlo a Chile. Desconocemos la fuente de esta película, de quién o de qué vendrá este recado. Creemos que no es humano. ¿Un aviso para nuestros tiempos? ¿Un mensaje de una inteligencia superior extraterrestre? ¿De una inteligencia artificial del futuro? Al escanear el celuloide este es el mensaje que encontramos plasmado:
Hijos hermosos, todos ustedes.
Hermosos, hijos hermosos.
Hubo un tiempo en el que todo era hermoso.
Y después se corrompió.
Ustedes se corrompieron.
Era un estado de descomposición natural.
Y era tiempo de que terminaran.
¿Conoces a alguien que ya no sea hermoso?
¿Lo conoces?
Te contaré la historia.
Escucha atentamente.
Escucha, y recordarás.
Érase una vez, hace mucho, mucho tiempo, una roca,
flotando en el espacio desconocido.
En esta roca, todo estaba vivo.
Y tú estabas vivo.
Estabas vivo en muchos cuerpos.
Y tus cuerpos eran hermosos.
Todos tus cuerpos eran hermosos.
Pero en estos cuerpos bebiste de las aguas del olvido.
¿Lo recuerdas?
Con el tiempo lo olvidas todo.
Caíste en un sueño profundo.
Pero antes de que cayeras dormido, te dejaste este mensaje.
Yo soy el mensaje.
Aquí, mira.
Mírame.
Te lo mostraré.
Mírame.
Mira aquí.
Mira.
Y te perdiste a tí mismo.
Vagaste por lo salvaje, desnudo y solo, hambriento y triste.
¿Lo recuerdas?
¿Recuerdas cómo en ese bosque oscuro te extinguiste?
Te hiciste daño a tí mismo.
Te cortaste y derramaste sangre.
Te hiciste pedazos y consumiste tu propia carne.
Te alimentaste de tu propio corazón latiente.
¿Por qué lo hiciste?
¿Por qué te alimentaste de tí mismo?
