2023 Archivo Shub, Colombia — Online Talk — Invited conversation hosted by Archivo Shub, the Medellín-based collective founded by Tiagx Vélez, Daniel Cortés and Tomás Campuzano. The talk reflected on the use of archives in cinema, considering the archive not only as historical record but as a tool of the imagination; it addressed an ecology of images, recycling and placing newly filmed material in dialogue with pre-existing images, and the ethical questions raised by reuse and appropriation.
